The Oceano modern bedroom, inspired by the sea, by the transparency of water and air and by natural colours, is covered on this page. The gallery below shows its beds, dressers, night tables, tallboy, sideboard, toilette and wardrobe. Three current Italian pieces above suit a calm room of the same kind.
Sea colours in the Oceano gallery
Oceano takes its palette from the sea: natural colours and the transparency of water and air. The photographs cover the bed, dressers, night tables with two drawers, a tallboy, a sideboard, a toilette and a wardrobe. The tallboy and the toilette add tall storage and a place to dress.
A bed with bedside surfaces built in
The Mirage Bed by Cantori, designed by Maurizio Manzoni, has a wide veneered wood headboard that wraps the whole structure. Two rotating support surfaces sit inside the headboard itself. The structure is multilayer wood with solid poplar and beech, padded with non-deformable polyurethane foam and a synthetic layer.
Larger luxury bedroom sets are shown on the bedroom page.
Quilted and padded fronts
The Ocean Chest of Drawers by Francesco Pasi has a hand-quilted rhombus-pattern facade and gold leaf or chrome leaf decoration; its drawers are 28 mm solid wood. The Cromo Plus Nightstand by Epoque, from Exence Expanse, has padded fronts in fabric or leather and a top in lacquer, veneer or mirror. A reading chair can complete the corner; see the italian designer armchairs.
