This page covers the Imperial dining room, a classic collection inspired by water, with rich lines and clear colours. It explains how to build a dining room in that light palette with current pieces: a hand-carved table, upholstered chairs and a tall silver cabinet with carved decoration.
Choosing clear, light finishes
Clear, light finishes keep a richly decorated dining room from feeling heavy. Imperial paired luxurious lines with clear colours that fit any setting. The Gran Guardia Dining Table 2005 by Francesco Pasi offers White lacquer with silver patina and Luxury Cream with hand-painted details, with carving made entirely by hand in solid cherry. The Opera Upholstered Chair by Francesco Pasi comes in Luxury White or 100 Gloss Ivory, among other finishes, at H 110 x W 56 x D 63 cm. Its seat takes fabric in category A, with B and C on request, and a pale fabric keeps the palette clear. To seat more guests, compare an italian extendable dining table.
A tall cabinet with carved decoration
The Opera Shaped Silver Cabinet by Francesco Pasi, with carved "B" decoration and two doors, stands H 242 x W 172.5 x D 53 cm. It needs a high ceiling and a clear wall. Its sides, bottom and frame are 25 mm blockboard veneered in cherry, its doors and drawers are solid wood, 28 mm, and its 80 mm uprights carry carving finished by hand. Silver leaf on a white finish echoes the patina on the table. For the rest of the home, see our high end home furniture.
