Keeping a classic room calm

A classic room stays calm when the decoration sits in a few places and the rest stays plain. Put the strongest carving on the table and let the chairs and storage support it. The Gran Guardia Dining Table 2007 by Francesco Pasi carries the hand carving, made entirely by master craftsmen in solid cherry. The New Deco Oval Chair by Francesco Pasi sits on a solid cherry frame, finished in cherry, lacquer or Luxury. For a longer table, see an extendable dining table.

Storage that works every day

A sideboard with flat doors keeps everyday tableware out of sight without adding visual weight. The Opera Shaped Sideboard by Francesco Pasi, with two flat doors, measures H 106 x W 170.5 x D 54 cm. Its sides, bottom and frame are 25 mm blockboard veneered in cherry, and its doors and drawers are solid wood. Symphony left nothing to chance, and the finish deserves the same care. Fabric or leather on the chairs?

Leather wipes clean after meals, while fabric brings more colour and texture. The New Deco Oval Chair takes either: fabric in category A, B or C, or leather. Choose leather for a family that eats at home every day, and fabric where the room is used for guests. In a calm room, pick a cover close to the tone of the wood.
